Wrote an interesting thing about how X-Files ratings in the mid-90’s, then considered kinda-sorta good, totally dwarf hit shows today. Used example of The Big Bang Theory, which was ranked #1 last night with half the viewers as the CSM episode of X-Files in 96. Then Tumblr blew up for a minute, and it’s gone. No biggie.
Bottom line: Big Culture has fractured.
